We are pleased to report that we have funded 3 ultrasound scanners for the three main hospitals in Liberia.

These are portable machines and can be taken to different wards or to the delivery room or theatre. It is amazing that hospitals with hundreds of baby deliveries every year did not have such a device.

These will help in assessing baby health, development and growth as well as diagnosing twins or triplets, breech presentations, excess ( amniotic) fluid and checking heart function.

They can be used to look for lots of other problems in non pregnant people.
